WOW was again extremely proud to have been the supplier of choice for both the LED Arch lighting and the Lighting control system for Edmonton latest Architectural Icon – The New Walterdale Bridge. This project showcased WOW Lighting and Controls strengths to combine both our light knowledge and our lighting controls expertise. The long continuous arches of lights required for this project made the GVA Lighting HL-1200 product the perfect solution to this projects challenging lighting requirements. The supplied ETC Lighting Control system combined with the GVA Lighting HL-1200 product provided the end result that all parties within the design group desired.

In The Spirit of Reconciliation

Wow Lighting and Controls acknowledges that we live, work, and create on Treaty 6 territory: a traditional meeting grounds, gathering place, and travelling route to the Cree, Saulteaux, Blackfoot, Dene, and Nakota Sioux, as well as on Treaty 7 territory: the traditional territories of the Blackfoot Nation, including the Siksika, Piikani, and Kainai; the Stoney-Nakoda First Nation, including the Chiniki, Bearspaw and Wesley Nations; as well as of the Tsuut’ina Nation.

We acknowledge that this territory is home to the Métis Settlements and the Métis Nation of Alberta, Regions 2, 3 and 4 within the historical Northwest Métis Homeland.

We acknowledge all the many First Nations, Métis, and Inuit whose footsteps have marked these lands for centuries.

We are grateful for the traditional Knowledge Keepers and Elders who are still with us today and those who have gone before us.
