Design synopses from Javier Martinez, FRAME Interior Design Studio. (Project completed while under the employment of Cridland Associates).

The renovation of ths home included the kitchen, bathrooms, master bedroom, fireplace, staircase, media/ family room, laundry room, light fixtures.

Rather than a standard chandelier(s) over the staircase, the client wanted something a little different, so we chose the Vibia Match fixture. The clients are art enthusiasts and when I saw this fixture it really reminded me of an art / sculptural installation. I saw this fixture more as an art piece than just a light fixture, I thought it would be perfect for this client.

In The Spirit of Reconciliation

Wow Lighting and Controls acknowledges that we live, work, and create on Treaty 6 territory: a traditional meeting grounds, gathering place, and travelling route to the Cree, Saulteaux, Blackfoot, Dene, and Nakota Sioux, as well as on Treaty 7 territory: the traditional territories of the Blackfoot Nation, including the Siksika, Piikani, and Kainai; the Stoney-Nakoda First Nation, including the Chiniki, Bearspaw and Wesley Nations; as well as of the Tsuut’ina Nation.

We acknowledge that this territory is home to the Métis Settlements and the Métis Nation of Alberta, Regions 2, 3 and 4 within the historical Northwest Métis Homeland.

We acknowledge all the many First Nations, Métis, and Inuit whose footsteps have marked these lands for centuries.

We are grateful for the traditional Knowledge Keepers and Elders who are still with us today and those who have gone before us.
