South Bank Corten Steel Tower

  • 151.jpg
  • 152.jpg

This newly constructed multipurpose building just outside of Calgary’s downtown core is a refreshingly contemporary feature of the Inglewood neighborhood, featuring 69 new residential units, office spaces and 12,000 square feet of retail space.

The distinguished façade, clad in increasingly popular Corten steel, has a natural rusted patina that protects the integrity of the steel and creates a warm and inviting atmosphere.

The façade is accented with 35 meters of artfully displayed GVA HIGHLIGHTER® DL monochromatic LED luminaires with direct-view flat diffusers.

In The Spirit of Reconciliation

Wow Lighting and Controls acknowledges that we live, work, and create on Treaty 6 territory: a traditional meeting grounds, gathering place, and travelling route to the Cree, Saulteaux, Blackfoot, Dene, and Nakota Sioux, as well as on Treaty 7 territory: the traditional territories of the Blackfoot Nation, including the Siksika, Piikani, and Kainai; the Stoney-Nakoda First Nation, including the Chiniki, Bearspaw and Wesley Nations; as well as of the Tsuut’ina Nation.

We acknowledge that this territory is home to the Métis Settlements and the Métis Nation of Alberta, Regions 2, 3 and 4 within the historical Northwest Métis Homeland.

We acknowledge all the many First Nations, Métis, and Inuit whose footsteps have marked these lands for centuries.

We are grateful for the traditional Knowledge Keepers and Elders who are still with us today and those who have gone before us.
