Over the past few months, Tim and Sam from our Industrial Sales team have been on the road, sharing insights with the Electrical Contractors Association of Alberta (ECAA) chapters across the province. From Calgary to Red Deer, Grande Prairie to Fort McMurray, these sessions sparked important conversation about the future of industrial lighting and the meaningful impact modern LED technology can have on safety and performance.
The presentation focused on several core themes:
- Reducing glare through proper optical control and putting light exactly where it is needed
- Understanding how luminaires are built and how components dictate proper application
- Demonstrating that C1Z2 no-glare optics do exist and are changing expectations in hazardous-location lighting
- Showing why industrial LED lighting has become a true upgrade over legacy technologies
We are grateful for the engagement and thoughtful questions from every chapter we have visited so far. Your feedback and curiosity help drive meaningful progress in our industry.
The tour is not over yet! Two more ECAA sessions are still ahead:
Thank you to the ECAA community for the warm hospitality in every city. We look forward to connecting with the remaining chapters and continuing the conversation on safer, smarter industrial lighting.
