That’s A Wrap: Wow Lighting’s 2025 Summer of Giving

Wow Lighting’s 2025 Summer of Giving Recap

As we wrap up another incredible Summer of Giving, we are proud to celebrate the generosity of our teams, industry partners, and community. This year, our Wow Edmonton and Wow Calgary offices joined efforts to support two organizations doing life-changing work in Alberta: Second Chance Animal Rescue Society (SCARS) and the Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society (AARCS).

Throughout the summer, we filled donation bins at distributor events, gathered essential pet supplies, and rallied our networks to contribute to rescue, rehabilitation, and animal welfare. From boxes of donation goods to a full pallet of dog food, our community showed up with heart and the impact was felt.

Edmonton wrapped up their campaign with a Customer Appreciation BBQ, complete with fresh-grilled lunch and handcrafted gelato. It was a day of gratitude, fun, and community spirit that perfectly captured what the initiative is all about. Calgary’s wrap-up was celebrated during the Canadian Fall Tradeshow, combining the campaign conclusion with a vendor tradeshow day and providing another opportunity to highlight the impact of our collective efforts.

One of the many highlights came when Dakota, a rescue pup, found her FURever home with one of our families. Her adoption symbolized the heart of this campaign: support foster and adoptions, and creating tangible difference for animals in need.

Thanks to the generosity of our teams, customers, and partners, the Summer of Giving raised a combined total of $6,654.47, which Wow Lighting proudly matched, bringing the grand total to $13,308.94 for SCARS and AARCS.

To everyone who donated, participated, shared, or supported our cause in any way, thank you. Your kindness helped strengthen rescue efforts, support foster programs, and provide care for animals across Alberta.

Here is to community, compassion, and another impactful year of giving.
