Your Mission:
As a Specification Sales & Support Representative (SSR), you serve as a key point of contact for the department, providing technical support and sales assistance to both prospective and existing clients. You help guide customers toward product solutions that best meet their needs, while building strong, lasting relationships.
You bring a customer-first mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. With a growing understanding of Wow Lighting and Controls’ product lines, you play an active role in delivering responsive, informed, and reliable support across every interaction.
Core Competencies:
- Fielding and responding to daily requests from clients or coworkers.
- Utilize vendor portals to check inventory levels, lead times, and pricing.
- Provide fixture and controls selections, alternates, and solutions for inquiries from our customer base.
- Assist the specification team with technical support, budget pricing, and lighting layouts using Visual Software/AGI.
- Supporting the specification team with client education and training.
- Prepare quotes, bids, budgets, presentations, and other documents as needed.
- Regular follow up on quotations/opportunities using CRM system(s)
- Actively interface with our manufacturer partners to discuss and utilize new products.
- Participate in industry trade shows and events as needed.
What you will bring with you:
- Ability to read client provided electrical construction documents.
- Customer service focused and oriented.
- Good time management with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to work in a team environment across multiple departments.
- Understanding of electrical code, electrical concepts, and best practice installations is considered and asset.
- Strong PC skills including Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook 365.
- Oasis Sales Software experience is an asset.
- AutoCAD or related software experience is an asset.
