Making a Difference, One Event at a Time
At Wow Lighting and Controls, we believe in the power of community. Every summer, our team launches Summer of Giving—an initiative that brings our staff, distributor partners, and local charities together to make a meaningful impact.
Throughout the season, we host a series of fundraising and awareness events across Alberta. Whether it’s a counter day, BBQ lunch, tradeshow, or spec event, each event is a chance to give back, support a cause, and strengthen the connections within our industry.
It’s our way of saying thank you to the communities we live and work in—and a reminder that small efforts, shared across many hands, can make a big difference.
Wow soG 2025 - AARCS & SCARS
This year, we’re excited to support not just one, but two incredible animal rescue organizations, one in each of our Alberta territories.
Southern Alberta:
AARCS (Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society)
AARCS provides a safe haven and second chances for vulnerable animals through rescue, medical care, and rehoming programs.
Northern Alberta:
SCARS (Second Chance Animal Rescue Society)
SCARS is dedicated to reducing the number of homeless and abandoned animals in northern Alberta through rescue, rehabilitation, and adoption.
